Matt AmosMatt Amos Matthew D. Amos was born in 1962 in Steubenville, Ohio. He is married to Chris Cooley from Chickamauga, Georgia. They have three children, David, Bronwen, and Reagan. Matt holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from David Lipscomb University and a master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. He has been formally trained to preach and holds the equivalent of a master's degree in ministry. His preaching experiences have taken him to four different continents and fifteen states. He also speaks via radio and television and through the printed page. He has edited books and numerous articles. Matt has served his community as police chaplain. He is actively involved in gospel meeting, lectureship, counseling, and camp work. He also remains active in the Republican Party, both on a local and state level. He has served two different congregations as the local evangelist for ten years.
