Denis Thomas

Denis' Thomas is the first school counselor at Knoxville Christian School. She is striving to establish a developmental program where every student receives services. She provides classroom guidance, group, and individual counseling. Before moving to Knoxville, she worked as a school counselor in Cannon County.

Denis' earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Abilene Christian University and a master’s degree in school counseling from Middle Tennessee State University. She is currently working on a Ph.D. in Counselor Education at the University of Tennessee so she can teach future school counselors. She and her husband, Tim, make their home and enjoy life in Knoxville. One of her favorite Bible verses is Romans 12:2.
